Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

DoProofly (“the App”, “Service”) helps users track daily tasks and habits with photo-based proof verification. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights.

By using DoProofly, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

2. Definitions

  • Application – The DoProofly mobile app developed by Ali DURMAZ.
  • User / You – The individual accessing or using the App.
  • Personal Data – Any information that can identify an individual.
  • Usage Data – Anonymous data automatically collected during app use.
  • Proof – Photos or screenshots uploaded by the user to verify task completion.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Account Information

  • Anonymous user ID (UID) created automatically on first launch
  • Optional linked account via Google or Apple Sign-In
  • Subscription status via RevenueCat

3.2 Usage & Device Data

  • Task creation, completion, and interaction events (Firebase Analytics)
  • Device type, OS version, app version, notification preferences
  • Crash and performance logs (Firebase Crashlytics)

3.3 Proof Content

  • Uploaded proof photos/screenshots (temporarily stored for verification)
  • Automatically deleted after AI verification (usually within 15 minutes)
  • No long-term storage, sharing, or manual review by humans

4. How We Use the Data

We process collected data to:

  • Operate core app features (task creation, proof verification)
  • Manage Free/Pro subscriptions via RevenueCat
  • Maintain app security and prevent misuse
  • Analyze anonymized usage trends for product improvement
  • Diagnose technical issues and prevent crashes

Data Retention:

  • Proof images → deleted automatically after verification (≤15 minutes)
  • Logs & analytics → retained for 12–14 months
  • Account data → retained while the account remains active

5. Third-Party Services

DoProofly uses trusted infrastructure and analytics providers:

  • Firebase (Google LLC) – Authentication, Database, Storage, Analytics, Crash Reporting
  • RevenueCat, Inc. – Subscription management
  • Apple App Store & Google Play – Payment processing and billing

Each provider has its own privacy policy. Please review their policies for details.

6. Data Security

We implement technical safeguards such as App Check verification, secure HTTPS communication, and access-controlled Firebase rules.

Despite these measures, no digital service is completely secure; users share data at their own discretion.

7. Children’s Privacy

DoProofly is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, please contact us for removal.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access or export your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Withdraw consent or delete your account

9. Policy Updates

We may revise this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or feature changes.
